Prepare to be bombarded by my (or those stolen by me) pictures, words, snapshots, memes, thoughts, photos, rants, drawings, and issues.
All the crazy, none of the commitment.
P.S. The rumor that all redheads have a temper is untrue...but I do have one.

Graduation: 12 years complete

Your whole life you are told to look forward to graduation, 12 years spent waiting for that moment where they call your name, you walk across the stage, shake some random teacher's hand and then heave a sigh of relief, "I'm Free". You're told that you'll feel accomplishment, pride, joy but now all I feel is, "Finally, now I can worry about what comes next".

It seems to me the last 12 years have just been an intermission between childhood and real life. All in all a big waste of time.

As I walk across the stage on my last day as a high school senior I'll smile like expected, focus on not falling in my heels, and be thinking about the next step in my life and how best to tackle this next obstacle...the one that decides my future, the one that really matters.

Concrete Jungle, Bob Marley

I'm the daughter of an English Teacher

My mom is a high school English teacher. Ever since I was little reading for fun, correcting grammer, Shakespeare, writing stories and poetry. Knowing when to say 'I' and when to say 'me' in a sentence has been the norm. It couldn't be helped. My mom is an English teacher. I learned how to read when I was 5, before kindergarden. I read The Giver in 6th grade. I can read a regular sized novel in 2-3 hours. Why? My mom is an English teacher, it's normal. I write poetry for fun! I have memorized Robert Frost and parts of Shakespeare's plays! If you use the wrong word form in your writing I will correct it! Oh and if you ever use slang in your writing, I will use my red pen and fix it! Slang is not English! Why am I so anal about grammer you ask? My mom is an English teacher, it comes with the territory. You know, it's not all bad. I've never gotten below an A in English class. I can read through a book faster than anyone I know, so if a new movie is coming out I can read the book and go see the film a few hours later, no sweat. It's not all bad, being the daughter of an English teacher.

A Life Set Apart - great local Christian Rock band

A Life Set Apart is not only a band but a ministry that is rapidly progressing as they reach out to the world around them. Some of their shows have included opening for NeedToBreathe at God and Country Festival, opening at Rock and Worship Roadshow 2011 with bands like Thousand Foot Krutch, The Afters, Lecrae, Jars of Clay, and Mercy Me, and recently-playing mainstage at Cornerstone Festival with ...Write This Down, The Letter Black, Brian Head Welch, and P.O.D. Their success has been blessed as they have traveled independently for a year now, and have played over 70 shows from summer 2010 to the spring of 2011. They have big plans for the future and project a jump in shows for the rest of 2011 and 2012. Surprisingly, all the members are under 22 years old; the youngest at age 16. They work hard not only at putting everything they have into their music, but their drummer pursues online high school while the rest pursue college offstage. In their lifestyle, perseverance, and dedication, the members of this band are truly pursuing a life unexpected and full of adventure; A Life Set Apart.

Everyday we are faced with choices, good and bad. Through our music we hope to inspire people to truly evaluate the decisions they make and choose wisely. Many of our songs deal with complex issues of the heart and we hope to spare others some of the pain we have experienced in our lives.
